This 50 seat restaurant is an open-air, palapa roofed building that sits right on the water. Its torch-lit dining dock allows the yachtsmen to tie up their dingies and dine. It has enjoyed increased popularity with each season and is now considered a destination spot to all regulars and a wonderful new discovery to her new guests. The cuisine is San Francisco-style, which attributes to her great success along with the beautiful ambiance and the fun time had by all who visit. The staff is bi-lingual and make sure all guests have an experience to remember with every visit.

This is a full, “turn-key operation” offering. Fully equipped, American-style, with special features such as an O Zone sanitation system (chemical free) for the fruits and vegetables, a system providing safe drinking water from every faucet and an “on demand” coiled hot water system. The unique bar is made from a split Primavera tree, fresco paintings on the walls, custom made glassware and lighting fixtures, tables, chairs, linens, et al. – plus a car!

I clicked the link to Isadoras just to see if this is one of the restaurants we visited back in '05 and found myself locked into the site. The only way to escape was to click the 'End App' splash box ... which of course stopped my connect to the internet.

Maybe a poorly constructed site?

Is it time to shake up your life a little? Do something a little outside the box from your norm that fills the adventure in your bones AND your pocketbook? Your days spent on the beach and your evenings running a beautiful resort restaurant through the winter season. That’s the dream I had and built 4 years ago. So, of course, you can have it too. Return home for the spring/summer season – or stay all year round. Either way, it’s an incredible life-style and it can be yours.

This exciting opportunity is located on the popular Costalegre, in the village of Barra de Navidad, State of Jalisco – a 25 minute drive from the Manzanillo Airport. The Costalegre begins in Puerto Vallarta and continues south to Manzanillo. Over the past 4 years this coastline’s popularity has been exploding and is continuing as one of the fastest growing areas on the Mexican Riviera.

The 5-star hotel, Grand Bay, and its marina hosts yachts and hotel guests from around the world. Our restaurant has enjoyed a wonderful relationship with the hotel’s Concierge, Food & Beverage and Event Planning staff. The hotel and marina is located directly across the lagoon, perched on the hillside, and is part of the beautiful view from Isadora’s.

It’s all there just waiting for you. Come on. Take the plunge. I did and it’s one of the greatest adventures and accomplishments of my life. Then why am I leaving? Because I have another business in my California hometown which is growing each year. It’s now requiring my full attention all 12 months. So, I had to make a choice: Mexico or my hometown and family. My hometown had to win.

For pictures and more information, please visit our website at isadorasrestaurant.com. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and welcome your email responses.
