Los Gatos Gordos ... I would really enjoy this. My favorite style is acoustic blues (although I'm developing a greater appreciation for mountain music) ... this group sounds fun.

Scott ...

There is a growing number of Blue Grass "crazies" out there on Whidby Island. My bro-in-law and his group head up into the mountains northeaast of Seattle for a serious festival in July ... 'tis a wild and fabulous experience.

Any chance of getting something like that started in Melaque/Barra?

Is there such a thing as 'Musica Mejicano de las Montañas' ?

Sounds like that might be the Derrington country music festival.

I don't know ..... I'm not very well connected with musicains in this area yet. No idea who is here during the summer ... or winter only. In Seattle we had Friday night jams every week. Would be fun to pick that up here .... even blues, rock or country.

I have a guitar, fiddle if someone is here without instrument. I haven't made much progress with my fiddle lessons but hope to find the time.

I need my coffee fix. I thought the harmony was the double signature! I didn't even noticed that it posted twice!!

To make amends..I shall even put new strings on my guitar.

From the responses ... there is talent out there ... question is ... how much of it is real musical talent?

The dobro has been my newest 'guitar addition'. My wife scratches out some notes on the fiddle and we make a joyous noise ... we call it Blue Grass Music ... the pets somewhat disagree.
