It is just past, towards centro Manzanillo, on the right side of the road. Take the exit on the overpass at the entrance to the port and then continue on the frontage road past the entrane and the parking lot for Aduana is on the right about 1 or 2 blocks past the entrance to the port.

If you need more detail, I will scan a map and send it to you.

Stan

Thanks Stan .... that's about where I was told it was a year ago but have not noticed it. Pretty sure I can find it from that.

Well I found Aduana today just south of the port entrance. My main reason for going was to ask about auto permits when you change your visa from FMT to FM3. Despite what other offices in Mexico say, Manzanillo believes the law reads - 'as long as your visa is current, your auto permit is legal'.

I went to a window, was referred to the reception desk and an authority from up stairs came down just for my question. He certainly looked like a bright guy and not just a paper pusher. I will rely on his answer rather than driving 3 days north for a new permit.

Sparks,

Glad you found the office and I like the answer you got. That is kind of what I understood from reading article 106 off of Rolly's site.
