Costalegre Jalisco Mexico

This place is hidden away south of downtown on the ocean side of the lagoon inlet. As you are headed towards the power plant turn right just before the bridge over the inlet. There is an improved jetty on that side and might even be good for fishing if the waves aren't too large.

The area just behind there - Ventanas gets lots of people fishing in the mouth of the canal there. The only trouble is when you come in in a boat they don't always like to reel in so you have to be ready with a knife just in case.

Other than that the fishing is really good.

I have dived just along from there and it is excellent but difficult due to the waves and currents that run along the bay there.
