Never download and install things you run into on the internet. Only do so with things you are looking for and fully understand.

And also, the boy who recently fixed my computer told me not to download anything that claims to fix registry errors - you'll make the problem worse. He also thinks that there are a lot of viruses in those communities such as "My Space."

There are certain programmes that are good for cleaning and fixing registry errors. I use Reg-Cure, it always finds errors which is odd, but after running it I always notice a speed up in my system. It costs about $40US.

With viruses watch out in some of the internet cafes around here. I took something to print at one because we were out of ink in the office. I came back and as soon as I plugged my memory stick into my laptop it flashed up a virus warning.

Always make sure your anti-virus is up-to-date!
