Over on the west end. Notice how they had to fill in the rear windows because that wall is on the lot line. Gonna be a dark room because they didn't think ahead. Will be interesting to see how they insulate or shade the roof.

More progress with a front gate, finishing the cement/brick section in back and some ceiling insulation. This place is going to be 3 floors with a palapa on top. Third floor is metal stud walls

What will they sheath the exterior of the stud walls with?

And how many critters will make those hollow walls a home?

The walls will be styro foam covered with plaster, inside and out (we talked to Les, the guy who is building this (the photo Scott took of the the bricked over windows was taken from our roof).

Critters? A good exterminator is definitely necessary here in the tropics.... We've sprayed the exterior walls and interior around the perimeter of each room and so far have had no problem. I walk barefoot all the time, so critter control is a must in our house.
