Just another story of the landlord raising the rent beyond what is reasonable. They've decided to build a new restaurant on the grounds of Hacienda Melaque. I didn't see any construction activity a few weeks ago but they said they'd try to be open by November. I assume it's on the Herradura street side

It's about 4 blocks back from the beach but still in el centro. A month and a half ago there was nothing going on (construction). I should take a look soon !!!

I was told by someone who really would know that this was a permanent location by the bus station and not rented!

I was told by the owners that they did not have a lease on the place by the bus station and the landlord raised the rent out of sight. They now have a contract with Hacienda Melaque but need to build their own building to house it. Maybe Gary and Joyce were pulling my leg but I can't imagine why

I'll go look in the next few days

Gary is a joker, and if he can pull your leg he will. He will pull it so far that you're 8 feet tall by the time he is done.

I went over yesterday and found the place. It looks like they've partly built and partly remodeled. Very nice large palapa off one small building and a new brick patio infront of a larger building with new kitchen. Should be all outside except for under the large palapa. Lots pf palms in a pretty setting

Go in the north entrance which is 2 blocks up from Las Brisas ... maybe 100 yards into the property
