This is the kids bathroom and how they broke these things I don't know. The parts to one of them went missing - possibly in hopes I would not notice.

Now that they are living across the street I'd like to fix them. The first is the shower soap holder and the second is the TP holder. I assume they were set in plaster and does not look easy to clean it out. Each has a screw but not sure why (through hole?). Is there any chance fixtures are standard. Ideas !!

Scott,

I see no one replied yet, so I will. I didn't want to because I don't definitively know the answer, but I believe they are all standard sizes. You can chisel out the old mortar very easily, just be careful near the tile edges.

Good Luck,

Stan

Thanks Stan I haven't been shopping yet but I just found two replacement pieces they left. The problem is these 2 new ones overlap the hole with a smaller insert section the size of the hole. Leads me to believe the holes are standard but the style and method of installing differ.

The overlap won't work in the corner (top foto) without chipping the tile away. May have to buy another.
