Four of us stopped there for lunch today. It is the BIG (HUGE) place on the left when you're heading toward Manzanillo, just before the Barra turn-off. They are open 10 AM - 6 PM.

4 meals (large portions) and 4 soft drinks - 267 pesos (we all had seafood dishes). Ricardo is the only waiter that speaks English, he was born in California and worked in Colorado. Very friendly and helpful. We'll be back! The 'Shrimp Diablo' was! (according to Vern) and I really liked their Coctel de Cameron!

Enjoy...we did.

Elke

Someone told me that Hermanos Rubi is a franchise, that there are some in Guadalajara. Does anyone know if this is true?

They do have other restaurants according to one of the waiters that I talked to. I think the headquarters is in Guadalajara.

This place is very good in IMHO. I like their food and service. The staff is friendly and some speak English. Most of the items on them menu are priced right and the portions are large.

They are open for breakfast and lunch and closes at 6 in the evening.

cya,
