A free lunch? Well maybe!!!

Today my girlfriend and I stopped at the new restaurant in Jaluco, called La Pamploma. Drink were expensive as beer cost $25 pesos and coke and the like cost $20 pesos.

They have a menu I am told but I did not look at it as this place is like the restaurants in Comala. The botanas just keep coming. First each of us got a bowl of shrimp soup, then 4 toastada with fish, 4 more with pulpo, a salad of pig skin, tomatoes, and onions in a vinegar sauce, then a plate of hot cucumbers, and i do not know what else they would have brought as I stopped the waiter and asked for the check. I think you get 4 different items per drink. free cokes and a beer were $85 pesos.

The food was very good.

Location? Hmmmmmmmm. Maybe I should not tell you as then more people will make it impossible to find a seat in the 100+ seats available. This place is very crowded on the weekend. They have live music then too.

Anyway it is the building next to the Pemex station (towards Melaque) on the main road.

cya there,
shoe

You must have gotten lucky or else I got unlucky. I went on Saturday and the food was bad & the service was appalling. Meat like old boots, very little snacks.

I prefer La K'melia in Manzanillo (used to be Don Comalon), they have a great band good food and service. The only porblem is that you have to go to Manzanillo for it. Still it is a nice treat when I am over that way.
