Somebody suggested that this might become the 'serious' forum for the area....try this one:
"San Rafael" mini pizzas from Bodega Aurrera. Very tasty and handy to keep in the freezer for
that weekly pizza fix that hits us.
These personal sized frozen hockey pucks turn out beautifully in the oven or toaster-oven.
Add some additional fresh ingredients of your own, and chow down.
We keep cooked chorizo in the freezer and use it like pepperoni, toss on extra fresh veggies and it turns into
a great instant supper.
The 'Mexican' version is a bit picante, but great flavours otherwise. Also available in family sizes too.
They're available in local stores here, but Aurrera / Walmart keep them frozen, and not laying out in the sun
on the back of a truck coming from Guadalajara. (I like to think that anyway)
Tip: don't over cook them.
Was I serious enough ?

Not only 'a little more serious' but with sub-sections it's easier to browse what you are interested in

For some reason I never look in the frozen anything section in Mexico .... but that does sound like an interesting option. Back home in the States I used to buy inexpensive plain pizzas and add veggies and cheese in the kitchen. Took some testing to find the best crust. My pizza splurge here is Benedetti's 2 for one Tuesday

New restaurant

Well at least Doña Agueda is new to me. Can't remember if they enlarged it or if used to be something else. At least new paint and patio in front. I guess the only reason I mention it is I think they make a good pizza. Good pizza will not be agreed upon between the local grumpy gringos ... but I definitely put this up with the best in town. Just ask for thin crust and NO hotdog (salchicha)
